Andrew Fors founded Fors Holdings Inc. in 2014 to manage private capital. The family office is primarily focused on acquiring and building small market companies. Today, the company is the holder of four manufacturing businesses:
Sylhan, LLC, a niche build-to-print specialty machine and light assembly company in Long Island, NY.
Pellicano Specialty Foods, Inc., a specialty food manufacturer in Buffalo, NY.
Weco Manufacturing, a precision sheet metal fabrication company in Rochester, NY.
Sidco Filter Corporation, a manufacturer of industrial filter element replacements and housings.
In his professional career, Andrew was a Partner at Summer Street Capital Partners, a leading middle market private equity fund with over $500 million of capital under management. At Summer Street he was responsible for a variety of roles including sourcing investments and managing portfolio companies. Andrew closed over 20 transactions in his 15 years at the company.
Prior to Summer Street, Andrew started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was part of the Financial Advisory Services Group.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and holds a Masters of International Hospitality Management from Institut de Management Hotelier International.
Sylhan
FHI acquired Sylhan in early 2015. Locatedin Long Island, New York, Sylhan is an independent, fully integrated machineand light assembly company that produces parts in large or small volume. It isan AS9100 rev. D certified, NIST and CMMC compliant manufacturer of precisionmachined refractory and exotic hard metal products that requiretight tolerances or unique geometry. Sylhanexcels at precision machining of refractory metalsas well as super alloys and sells to theaerospace and defense, semiconductor, medical, space and industrial markets.
Pelicano Specialty Foods
FHI acquired Pelicano Speicalty Foods in late 2017, a specialty food manufacturing company in Buffalo, NY. It specializes in custom and co packing sauces, dressing and rubs for food service and retail marketplaces. Pelicanos brings the taste of Italy to your table with sauces, dressings, and rubs.
Weco Manufacturing Group
FHI acquired Weco Manufacturing Group with Fairchild Capital Partners in 2019. Weco is a value added single source contract manufacturer of finished fabricated and machined metal components for product infrastructure and complete assemblies for products that are primarily electronic focused. Weco has strategic partnerships with select companies to help them by enhancing their business throughout sourcing some or all their manufacturing. Weco also delivers and designs custom parts, products, and system solutions to military customers.
Sidco Filter Company
FHI acquired Sidco Filter Company with Fairchild Capital Partners in 2019. Sidco manufactures custom and replacement filters. It is an industrial filter replacement for over 100 OEM’s. Sidco Filter Company manufactures industrial filter element replacements and industrial filter housings for air and gas applications, with a business philosophy founded on excellent customer service.
